Rhianna Quinn Roddy – Board Trustee
Executive Director - Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund
Rhianna Quinn Roddy is Executive Director of the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, a fund set up by President Clinton and Senator Dole in the aftermath of 9/11. The Fund supports post-secondary education for the wives and children of those lost on 9/11 and, to date, has awarded $137M to over 3000 students. Prior to joining Scholarship America Rhianna held the positions of Chief Marketing Officer for Lighthouse International and Vice President, Global and Domestic Tourism for NYC & Company, the official tourism bureau for New York City. Her background also includes more than 20 years with Delta Air Lines in a variety of executive roles in the U.S., Europe, India and Asia. She was appointed Strategic Communications Advisor by the U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness at the Pentagon and was recognized by the Irish government for her work in Tourism when asked to be Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland. She is a current board member of The Bridges Academy and Tuesday’s Children and has served on the boards of the American Heart Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, NYC & Company’s Executive Committee and U.S. Chambers of Commerce boards in Ireland, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Rhianna earned a BA from Stony Brook University in New York and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She spent three years at the Sorbonne and College de France in Paris and attended Kent University in England.
